UCA/Shelby/Arning drop

Recommended Posts

Well, I would say it is certainly more worth it than on an occasional driver. There is no argument that it is an effective improvment and it is a free modification so I can't see any reason not to do it to pretty much every single car shy of a full concourse trailer queen and especially if it's a daily driver.

3 things......

1) how much drop can i expect ?

2) do you or anyone have the template for the relocation ?

3) can i also cut the springs ? (wanting about 2" drop from new stock rideheight)

From what I have read you can only expext about a 1/2in drop by doing the 1in drop. It is more to affect the geometry of the suspension than lowering the car.

Here are two links to people that sell the templetes.

I have heard that you can cut 1/2 to 1 coil out of the spring to change your ride height but it will also change you spring rate some.
