We're really ignorant about everything on the car, so will you please tell me where it should go. This is my first mustang & have been working on it for 7 years, so we're in a learning process. Need help wherever we can get it.

Go to http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/fusionbb.php? and scroll down to the Mustang CLub listings and Local Chapter sections. There will be folks that will know more about mustangs than the Ford employees that made them did, and they'll be glad to help you.
