what happened with LED install?

Hey guys. I just installed my sequential LED taillights. They work great but my front turnsignals and scoop signals are flashing slower and dimmer now. has anyone experinced this at all? :confused:

Is your alt up to the task? Maybe an upgrade there would help???

I just bought a new 160 amp 3G alternator a couple weeks ago. I'll see what happens when I install it. Right now I have the original 55 amp alt. mounted. Thanks :wink:

Did you buy and install the electronic flasher?

Yes it flashed slower up front when I installed the electronic flasher. Any ideas?:wacko:

try changing the front signal lights to the amber 1157 LED replacement bulb

Do you know if it will work from experiance? I guess its worth a try. There cheap enough. Thanks

not from experience, but i've heard of other people having the same issue and things working fine after the front led install.

 

 

ps they now have a sequential kit for the hood scoop turn signals as well. i have seen them in the mustangs unlimited catalog. i think they are about 60 bucks. i can't remember if it is a 2 or 3 light unit though. anyway it's pretty cool

Well I installed the 1157 LED bulbs in the front turnsignals. No change other than they are brighter. So I'll call the company where I bought them from and they said it one of the side affects of having sequential LED taillights. :hammer: So in that case Im going to returnthem and get the non sequential taillight kit.
