I'm sorry it is sold, Thanks though
-
There are several reasons to sell. The main thing is, with this car it is pretty much all about me and my enjoyment it provides. I have a wife and a young daughter that support me with the car, but do not get much satisfaction out of it. We are going to get into boating, I love to fish and my wife grew up skiing. Something the whole family can get into. Its the least I can do for them after all these years letting me play around with the old hooptie. We also plan on getting into the modern mustang scene, I am waiting to see what engines/packages Ford comes out with and move in that direction in a couple of years. My first car was a 65 coupe, I owned it for 8 years through high school, college and a few years into marriage, then sold it to buy this 69, 12 more years of tinkering around with cars and I am ready for a break. These are still the best looking muscle car ever made. And each time I see one driving down the street, I will be grinning ear to ear. Cheers Joe

Electric fan controller, have some questions
JC69Stang replied to 1BAD351's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Wish I could help you, but I run mine through a Relay and a switch, when my temp gets close to 180 I turn on the fan, if I need to leave it on after a run or a track day, its easy to do. The controllers are one more point of failure in my opinion. So I prefer to manually turn my fan off and on -

Anyone using a electric fuel pump?
JC69Stang replied to Handegard's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I have run a Carter one for years, never any trouble. Had a different one on there before that was problematic but i dont remember the brand. Mostly they are noisy, and vibrate some. Not a big deal to me though -

OK, I think this was one of the finest mods ever done to my car, and it was pretty straight forward. Thanks for the comments. Here is the parts list roughly: I bought the right Gas gauge, have a new tank and sending unit, and it still reads wrong, it is roughly 1/2 tank off. But I can live with that since the original didn't work at all. (A resistor might fix this) Parts: (in Summit) Volt Meter and Water Temp are 2 1/16" in the A Pillar Pods. Fuel Gauge 2 5/8" - ATM-5815 - $ 37.95 Oil Gauge 2 5/8" - ATM-5827 - $54.95 Mech Speedo 5" (Wish I had gone with the Electric one though...) Tach 5" ATM-5898 - $123.95 Home depot: 1/2"x1/8"x 4' aluminium bar $ 4.95 screws 1/8"x 2" $ 2.00 I hope this helps, please ask if there is anything else. Also, I just bought the LED's for the turn signals and Brights indicator from Radio Shack, they work great except I put them too high, once installed back into the dash they hide a little bit. Not a big deal either just FYI

New Eliminator Style Fiberglass Hood!!

Sweet! Gratz! -
I used the EZwiring 21 circuit kit and had very good luck with it. For the money it was a no brainer. When I had a question and called it was handled right away.

Double check your connections on the battery posts, and the ground wire attaching to your block. That one caused me some major headaches once.
