But before I do I wanted to ask you stangers which you would rather have and it there is that big of a difference between them. I am also confused about the drag pack option. 69mach1t5 104 Report post Posted September 22, 2005 SCJ VS CJ ok in order to have a scj you would have to order a car with either 3:91 ot 4:30 gears, When you ordered these gears it became a scj, also in the engine it was a 428 but had 427 screw in studs for connecting rods,a weird crankshaft balancer, an oil cooler,with a nodular rear end, I had one so i kinda found alot of info about them , Heres all info you need http://www.428cobrajet.org/cj-vs-scj.html Drag pack is what you called the package, It was a cobra jet ordered ,But ford knew people and warrenty problems would arise if they had them gears , so they beefed up the engine,Drag pak or super cobra jet, which is the same, are very much more desireable than a Cobra Jet Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
