  5. I went with Aurora wires. Great wires, lifetime guarantee and ver easy to fit. I know a few racers here who wouldn't use anything else. Im very happy with them.

  15. I know EXACTLY how ya feel...Just read my thread in the progress area. At one point I felt like dragging the car out of the garage and blowing the damn thing up. But once it all comes together and things start working all right you'll get a little smile on your face....You'll still be a bit leery but then, after a little longer when it's feeling good on the road, that smile will get bigger. Then, soon you'll look back and think about all the grief ya had and a big grin will flash across your face, as someone asks about your great looking car. Then...and ONLY then will you really appreciate all the work, the grief and the BS ya went through to build the car.......................................Then something else will break....................:surrender::biggrin:. Gotta love this hobby...... P.S. Im still working on my car....This weekend...brakes (poetic eh ??)..next weekend...who knows !!
  16. Thanks all for the advice. I know about the bleeding part...Lord knows I've bled many a brake line. The rotors don't have the bearings inc. but I am gonna replace the bearings as well. Seems kinda silly not to. Im picking them up tomorrow. Any tricks to the bearing install ? I'm gonna check the shop manual for any help they have, hopefully I don't need a bearing press or anything silly like that.
  17. Hey All, I am planning on replacing my front disc brakes this weekend. Rotors, calipers and Pads. The car came with front disc so It should be fairly simple. However, if I have learn't anything during this build, it's that NOTHING is as easy as it first seems !! So here's the question(s).... 1. How do the rotors come off the spindle? Is it just a castle nut and cotter pin ? 2. I'm guessing new bearings would be the prudent way to go, is there any trick or anything I should be aware of when installing new bearings ??? ie how to seat the bearings.... 3. If you can think of any tips or advice I should know PLEASE let me know !!!Thanks in advance all for any help.
  18. Nice !!! Now I gotta go find a drive-in !! The weather is finally not wet now !!!

  24. The idea of this game is to get members out with their Mustangs (now that the weather is nice), get some cool pics and to have a little unexpected fun at the same time. Here are the rules, lets see if we can keep this going... Name your "challange". A "challange" is a place or thing to take a picture with your car. The first person to go out, take, and post the picture gets to pick the next "challange". The picture must be taken after the "challenge" is given. Try not to make it impossible. New "challenges" may only be picked when a picture of the last one was posted. RULES: 1) After 3 days, the person who made the challenge can post their own picture and pick another challenge. 2) If a pic is in dispute, it needs 3 yes votes to be accepted. 3) After any comment, please put the current challenge at the bottom so everyone can stay up to date. 4) Pictures must be taken while out of the car. 5) Pictures must be taken AFTER the challenge is given. 6) The following types of challenges are NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES: - action shots - challenges involving other people - duplicate challenges - illegal challenges Lets keep it safe everybody. 7) If a picture has been posted but a new challenge has not been picked, the current challenge is still active until (a) new challenge has been picked or (b) another member posts another picture satisfying the challenge and picks a new challenge. 8) Only Mustangs can play. No one wants to see pictures of your Chevy Nova. The game ends on the Sept 30/2010. The member with the most challenges completed wins !! (Ya don't really win anything but bragging rights !!) Ok, so here is the first challenge ........ CHALLANGE # 1: POST A PICTURE OF YOUR CAR NEXT TO A RICER<!-- google_ad_section_end --> Go get em!:thumbup1:
