  1. I believe they will, however the shaft is beefier (which is good), so the swap will require new bearings etc.

  3. I was watching "My Classic Car" recently and on the show as a guest was a rep from Valvoline. They spoke in depth about this very subject and he recommended his own oil ofcourse, VR1 Racing oil. http://www.valvoline.com/downloads/2008-003a.pdf Looks like good stuff.

  6. Just another quick not on this. I believe the accelerator cable bracket is different for a 2v & 4v, this may account for some of the trouble.
  7. Mine came with a 3.00 open rear and FMX tranny. I ran it for years with that ratio. The car wasn't a beast out of the hole, but boy did it have legs on the highway. When the rear let go 5 years ago I installed an Auburn Gear limited slip with a 3.70. This really woke the car up from light to light, but on the highway it was revving the engine up too much for my liking. I f you do a lot of highway driving I would stick with either a 3.0 or a 3.25. If you like to race from light to light, try a 3.50. Good luck!!

  10. The gasket goes on the trunk lid and I believe the narrower side goes down. Put the seam in the center, right where the trunk latch is. In my opinion, the deck lid must be removed to perform this installation properly. Use 3M super weatherstrip adhesive, apply it to the lid and the gasket and let it set for a bit to get tacky before installing it.
  11. I am in the same boat. I have planned on installing a hydraulic clutch kit for my project from day one. Now that I'm ready to buy, there isn't a kit to be had in the entire country. I know these have been pieced together by some, but I'm the type who NEEDS the kit. I just ordered a Modern Driveline cable kit instead. I am running Hooker super comps and hope that the cable will last. With no date in sight for production of the hydraulic kits I felt like if I wanted to drive the car anytime soon I really had no choice.
  12. What causes the fuel guage to act this way. Before I took the car apart the guage would never read more than about half a tank. Installed a new tank and sender, rewired the entire car, and now it goes straight past full when the key is turned on.
  13. I would like to see that info myself, please mail it to chillin_in_nh@yahoo.com. Thanks!!!!
  14. Let me package it up and figure the cost and I will grab your address and let you know where to send the dough.
  15. My original had been cut up for 6x9's so I replaced it with one I bought on ebay. I still have my original one, once installed you can't tell it's been cut unless you climb into the trunk, I'm just anal lol. Pay the freight and I'll send it to you or check ebay, they do come up on occasion, I don't believe they are being repopd.
