  1. heidits kit installed and the body work begins some rust not much at all only had to replace drivers floor pan took out the lead from roof smothing delete panels and firewall
  2. this in not my car but it's very close down to the wheels I had on it even the same color. this is the tear down stage baking soda blast

Hello everyone I have my first car I ever owned a 1970 mustang coupe i bought in dec 1990, alot of people ask why I am building a coupe, its got alot of good times in that car!! so I am going to beputting in a ton of money and time so here is what is planned a 427 stroker with fuel injection, tremec tko600 from modern driveline with hydro cluch, chriss alston chassis works 4link with a fab9 housing 390 gear, airride tech all the way around, a heidits superride 2 front kit with the shock towers deleted, interior will be prob, some stock some new,I plan on power windows tilt column, ac, I got started on the car about 3 years ago then broke my leg, so i got set back but im back on it now, the paint will be a silver,motor bay flat black, and undercoated black, I havent decided on wheels yet , and i welcome all ideas, thanks for looking ill update with pictures colby Air Ride Now known as Ride Tech.   4. thanks for the help guys im leaning toward the 351 setup from a donor and doing some powder coating or altering as i need it, ill keep looking though, if anyone else has input i am open to suggestions
  5. does anyone have any ideas on a serp. setup , I love the billitt specialties whole setup but 2 grand is pretty steep its going on my pro-touring 70 coupe with a 351 fuel injected thanks for any suggestions

  8. roy thanks but,,, I called this guy and he busted out laughing, he used to be a heidts dealer then started making his own stuff which his may be better but, not what i have (yea of course I would have not gone this route if i would have known) but after he was done bashing them he said he had no answers to help me or he would have ,so Im back to the drawing board!!
  9. sorry guys i guess i wasnt to technical in my explanation, I know it uses a rear sump oil pan but when you do that you that there is still a smaller hump in the front for the pump to set in there, so you cant get a true rear sump only pan. I really need someone that has done this same setup to know what they did to fix the prob. by the way I contacted heidts and they said to put a dry sump oiling system on it , but im not doing that ! thanks guys for the imput colby
  10. Has anyone ever put a heidts front susp. in a 69/70 stang with a 351w motor Im having clearance problems with the oil pan and the rack pinion, just wondering if you guys ever dealt with this or know anyone who has thanks colby
