  1. Only a little :-) I'll have to roll it for sure then. No biggie
  2. Didn't see this till now unfortunately. It doesn't have much space but it looks ok to me. I can take it one of these days to you so you can be sure. Send me a text anytime and we can figure something out
  3. Bought these and didn't use them. Now I'm going to use a 351w so I can't use these. $42 shipped for the 154-3601 (new) 154-3605 sold
  4. I bought this when I was going to use a t5 but now that I have a 4r70w I don't need it.....right? Lol It's new and I paid $94 so $85 obo shipped I've sold on many other forums throughout the years with the same user name for different hobbies but now that I have this MAN hobbie I have some feedback on the corral forum if you need to check :)
  5. He told me he likes AED because it's made by Americans in the USA so it's great quality and the people that make them have been for many years already
  6. Thats probably why ive always thought to stick to a vac secondaries carb.
  7. I though it was a must for the best driveability in the city
  8. I don't remember right now but did you tell me he recommendeds AED carbs and he sells them? Well he only recommended a 850 aed dp
  9. A friend told me about them and I had bought one for the 302 I was going to build before the 408w but recently sold it. I only had that one in mind because I didn't see another carb that was a 850 and vac secondaries. I keep seeing a vac secondaries carb is a must for street and auto. Please don't think I'm not listening to your advice because I am. You've been one of the greatest helps so far
  10. Anyone have experience making hard lines with a tubing bender and flare tool? I need or want to install bigger fuel lines to feed the 408w and I do need new hard lines going to the 9"rear axle I installed. Is it a PITA to make them no matter the metal type I use or easily done? If I can save a little cash making them or if it's about the same after I buy the tools then I'd be happy. I do love me some tools :)
  11. Haven't ordered them yet since I'm limited on storage space but they will be the same wheel just 18x8 and 4.5" backspace. I wanted to go with a 18x7 but that's probably too skinny
  12. Have you considered just a Bluetooth receiver/amp with the speakers only and leaving the stock radio installed? It can be installed somewhere hidden. I've only heard of them but their supposed to work good. If you want to save a lil just get this HomeSpot NFC-Enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009OBCAW2/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_mL3fzbJ9Y56WN I have that on my home stereo because I like my older marantz receiver and didn't want to upgrade to a newer marantz $$$ I've had this for a couple years and it works great. You can power it with a car charger because it uses a mini usb plug with 5v and I've been 20+ ft away and it works fine. That and a good 4 ch amp like a JL 300/4 with some rca splitters sonce it only has a 2ch output and your set I couldn't make up my mind on a double din or this Bluetooth set up. Now I don't think ill have a radio at all in my 69. I want to hear the 408w sex from under the hood and my exhaust lol
  13. When i said 550hp that what I was planing and then I hired Chris straub and he told me it'll clear 600hp so that's why I started saying 600. I don't plan to drag race much, but I do like driving fast. Once I get comfortable with the power and learn the limits of the current set up I will drive it fast like as in fast acceleration from light to light or fwy on ramps. I don't usually go more than than 10 over the limit on fwys. When im late to work..... That's a different story lol I already bought a 4r70w because of financial reasons with the tko set up. I'll switch to manual later. I need to buy the controller for it with the carb linkage kit for the carb I choose. I was leaning towards a speed demon 850cfm with vac secondaries. I want a carb with vac secondaries because of the auto trans and street use. That's why I'm looking at the speed demon. Chris told me I don't need a choke on the carb and I believe him but I haven't seen one without a choke and with vac secondaries. 2.84 1.63 1.00 .78 are the ratios on the trans I bought with a 3000-3500 ptc converter and it's supposed to be upgraded as in 6 clutch forward, 4 reverse, 4 intermediate, billet overdrive servo, all the oiling mods, J mod to valve body, and shift kit. I bought it from the corral forum. Id like to have it checked out by someone but I don't know who I can take it too yet. I don't know what ratio for the rear I'll get yet but I'm leaning towards strange 3rd member with truetrac with 35 spline. Slicks are possible for me at a drag strip eventually . Since I'm going all out with my 408w, why cheap out on the drivetrain right barnett468
  14. I forgot about this thread..... N case huh..... sounds familiar lol
  15. I was thinking of trying some 305/40/18 ,that or 295/40 tires The nitto nt555 g2 tires look nice. What other tires are good with a decent life?
  16. so i take it the less they bore the engine the easier it is to cool. i might have to wait to order this rad until i find out what they need to bore it too. its std bore right now so it shouldn't be much i hope. i wanted to order this now because i hate waiting for goodies like this but i guess it's the smarter thing to do
  17. Wait..... i thought you said crossflow is a must? I'm ok with the one you posted but since it was a downflow I didn't look at it much. Does it matter that the outlet on bottom for the hose is on the driver side? I don't care about details like that being spot on like a original style, I just want it to work good for me
  18. I ordered a 18x10 with 5.75 backspace and +6mm offset to see if it fits. I'll post my results
  19. Finding a good radiator for me is at a decent price is becoming a PITA I thought a 3-400 limit for my radiator would have been fine. Oh well
  20. http://streetortrack.com/1967-69-Mustang-24-High-Performance-Aluminum-Radiator-Small-Block-with-Transmission-Cooler-pr-24604.html
  21. I don't know what Shaun, he just sent me the email with the parts required for the full kit after I talked him. He said it wasn't a crossflow
  22. Booo! ;-) I called Shaun earlier and he recommended a 24" two row with 1" tubes he sells for $300. We were talking and I told him it'll be for a fast street car with a rare 1/4 strip visit. I wanted to get a champion because they are close by (kind of) and the lifetime warranty but I only saw aluminum with small tubes. I was very busy this morning but tomorrow I'll call some of the custom places mentioned
