Looking for the taillight panel extensions that connect panel to the quarter. Also looking for trunk rail corners. Anyone have NOS or good parts you can cut off a car? Parts are for a Sportsroof not a coupe. Thanks

The mount with the smaller slots is from my 69 Mustang with a C4 auto. The other with longer slots has 250 390 x and then an R on the rear I assume. The larger one also will set the trans about 1/2" lower. Any know the application for this one?

Dash pad dye question. Black or white for red?
50dan replied to 50dan's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Thank you for the replies everyone. Looks like I'll go with black for a base. -
My car has original dark red standard interior. My question is...Can I dye a black dash pad to the correct color or should I buy the white for better results??? Does it matter? Anyone done this? Thanks!

Get a damn good trans rated for the right power. The AOD's are very weak.

Your point on the $35??? Not sure what you mean. HV isn't needed in most applications. The HV pumps are only needed for an older worn motor. If you have a fresh or nearly new motor the HV pumps don't help unless the clearences are loose. So to spend $60 vs $35 on an oil pump your wasting $25.

std pump. I'll do $50 shipped for the pump and gasket together. The gasket is for all 69-97 blocks. The oil pan must have a smooth surface unlike some of the Canton pans that have the dimples in the rail. I guess the cork style seal the dimples better. This is an all rubber 1 pc seal with a steel core. Very nice.
