  1. Require help on these Interior rear Quarter Panel Trim brackets I noticed on EBay (Photos attached),as I didn't get any when I purchased my car disassembled.Where are they to be fitted & how are they attached to trim panels? Any photos will be very helpful. I also have a 1970 Car Shop Manual Ford Volumes 1 to V in PDF ,are there any better diagram manuals available for restorations (1970 Mustang Coupe) which show better details? Help much appreciated.Cheers Phil

Just cleaned all the old dried up grease & dirt off both door latch assemblies(which had been removed out of door panels by PO).Need help on info on what is the best lubricant to spray on all moving parts & what type of grease to use & where? I also have cleaned quarter window regulators & quarter window assemblies ie bracket attached to quarter windows & brackets(tracks) windows slide up & down (which were also removed out of Quarter Panels by PO) again need help on what is best spray lubricant to use on these & grease for track & rollers.Thanking you Cheers Phil

  5. Barnett468 I have seen your posts on the oz mustang site & you have a wealth of knowledge which everyone appreciates here.I'm not sure of the thermostat rating I have installed (I think it could be 192-195) I'll have to go back through my receipts, but I do know that the radiator cap I have is from NPD part No.8100-2B made in USA  Autolite Chrome ARC-67C  hope it is right .Regards Phil

  6. Sorry that I caused so much confusion with my inquiry.I should have explained my question better.I try not to type to much as it takes me so long to find the letters on the keyboard as I am a very slow one finger typist. This is the first classic car that I am restoring ( can be viewed in Project Progress).I have owned a lot of vehicles over the years and they all had overflow tanks,so I thought that there must be a reason so I thought that maybe I should put one in my 70 Coupe as a precaution as where I live in Australia(Central Queensland) the temperatures in summer are around 40 degrees Centigrade.I have a new radiator cap,new larger radiator, new water pump, new radiator hoses, new thermostat, new thermostst housing, coolant. The motor ( 302 Windsor) has been running but not long enough to see if it overheats. I've still got a fair bit to do before it will be on the road as a daily driver. It will never go on the track, just street use. Me not knowing to much on the mechanical side find all the info on this site that members have inputted very valuable. Back to the overflow tank question would you be able to give me the size (length & diameter) of the billet cylinders you have installed they look good.I hope I have cleared up the confusion I caused.Cheers Phil

  7. Thanks everyone for your input, the more the better, the 1970 OE vinyl could possibly be a different thickness to previous models,I have noticed that the drip rail molding trim advertised on mustang parts site say " Drip Rail Molding Coupe Without Vinyl Top 1969-1970" which to me could possibly mean that the vinyl went under it ?or maybe another reason,  your thoughts. Cheers Phil

  8. MN69Grande I did buy the same one that you bought. Does the back lip of yours fit inside the rear window rubber seal or does it just butt up against the bottom of the rubber seal? Any photos of how yours fits would be a great help to me.Looks like a simple 5 minute job is going to take me a whole day to do.Which seems pretty normal with everything I seem to do.Cheers Phil

  9. I purchased last year from CJ Pony a Fiberglass Package Tray PT12.I tried to fit it today & it wont fit.The rear curved section seems to be to high & front section sits out past metal edge of tray. Has anyone fitted one of these fiberglass Package Trays in a Coupe? Do they require cutting to fit? Does the back section when fitted fit inside the rear window rubber seal or does it just butt up against bottom of rubber seal? Any photos of how it fits would be a great help.Cheers Phil
