  1. Placing the back window trim is the first thing i'm going to do on my '70 coupe when the winter is gone. Top clips are the same as the front window, lower clips are wider.
  2. Question for a friend: Does anyone have experience installing a (NPD) Street Bandit Crossmember? He says the bolts for vertical mounting seem to be to short.
  3. Judging by how far the tire sticks out of the rim, I think it's 6 inch. Have to wait for the answer of the owner to be sure though. Wheel on the left is P235 60R 15x7: Agree! Packs a nice punch aswell with the SCJ.
  4. Isn't the seal supposed to be mounted the other way around like shown in the Ebay ad?
  5. I've got a reaction from the owner surprisingly (last online years ago), they are P235 60R 15inch. Winter project for us in a few years.
  6. I tried contacting the owner, no result so far. I really like the combination and stance.
  7. Does anyone know which wheel and tire size the SCJ Coupe in the photo's has? And the hubcaps on these are correct for '69, the '70 are the flat ones in the third photo, right? Thanks for the help.
  8. Thanks for the info. I've searched for the two formulas, this is what i found: Vinyl parts (VP=Vinyl Prep). For metal you need the MP-4464 (MP=Metal Prep).
  9. I'm looking for the correct black paint for interior parts. I've been looking around and found out that 'charcoal metallic' is correct for the interior. I have found a shop that sells Charcoal Metallic from Highway Classics. Is this the correct paint for the kickpanels and other plastic interior parts? Thanks.
  10. Yes the bottom clips are wider, I ordered the Coupe-clips at NPD. Thanks for the rope seal tip. I was looking for spray sealer, but this is easier to apply. Here's a photo of our Mustang before we replaced the back window and trim:
  11. Hello guys, I'm finally ready to get busy with the rear window trim but I'm missing the heads/knobs(?) to place the clips for the rear window trim. I've already got the clips, but I don't know how 'deep' I need to screw those in. I'm going to use self tapping screws. Can anyone help me out with measuring the depth that I need to put the screws in related to the lip? Especially the top ones. The bottom ones have to be almost against the bottom lip as far as I can see. Here is a sample photo:
  12. Gomach1, great stance on your car! Love it. Lowered the car a bit? I hope to buy some Magnums for my '70 Hardtop someday. With the bright blue paint I have on it, i'm aiming for the '69 Boss Magnums (grey center, instead of black). Should look great.
  13. I'm working on the rear window trim of a '70 coupe. So far I found the clips and I have the trim polished. Was nice to see what some good 'Belgom' aluminum polish can do. Still have to see if all of the flathead studs are in place. The Mustang had some repairs done around the back window (leaky vinyl roof) a few years back, before I owned it. I'm now waiting on the clips to be shipped and delivered before I start taking the window out for a new gasket.
  14. I'm in big need for the retainers that hold the rear window trim in place on a 1970 Hardtop/coupe. Anyone have them, or know where to get it? And if anyone only wants to sell it with the trim included, please leave a message aswell.
