Hi RWC, I saw in a thread you are running a stealth intake on your 351w and saw that you are not running a carburetor spacer. I am intent on running a spacer for heat soak reasons, and was curious if you know how much clearance your setup leaves from the hood. I am debating between stealth, performer, performer rpm, and the summit stage 2 intake. Thanks for your help.

I tried installing a 1/2 inch spacer but the hood wouldn't clear, i assume my air filter is the culprit and need to acquire a low profile one. with out the spacer though, it clears the hood but my air box screw nut hits the hood, I changed it and went with the original screw and it cleared so the hood doesnt shake, even though it looked cool while idling, lol. I've herd its a hit or miss with the spacers, everyones vehicle and engine mods are different so it could clear your hood. I r...
