  1. That looks great! I am expecting my wheel from them any day. Very glad to see the quality of work they do.
  2. I have the CJ's unit as well. Haven't installed it yet but looks like a high quality piece.

I appreciate all the replies. Any thoughts on switching to a rack and pinion setup? DragPack69, what CJ site are you speaking of? The 428 CJ Registry Forum?

    69 R-code find

Thank you for the input. This is what I was leaning toward, just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. I want to modify it to drive safer and easier. I will keep every original part and do the least amount of modification as possible. Brian
  5. Hello all. New to the site and to the mustang world. Recently fell into an amazing deal on a '69 R-code mach 1. Couldn't pass it up. Car needs a total restoration but is very solid. 428 CJ and 4-speed transmission were long gone. I plan to do a full rotisserie restoration and to take it back to as original as possible. To make the car more enjoyable to drive I'd like to add 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering and air conditioning. I'm not building the car for resale but to own it for a long time and enjoy it. My question is, would I be hurting the value by adding these features since it didn't come from the factory with them? Since I don't have the original motor and tranny it will never be a numbers matching car anyway. I have a marti report for it and it's the real deal.
