  1. I did mine yesterday, took about two hours but I did need to drop the rear exhaust hangers to allow room between the floor and the exhaust to allow the toploader extension housing to come right back. I also did a bush and seal in the extension housing whilst I had it off.
  2. Whilst on the seat subject. If you sit in the rear of my car you can push the pass seat forward about 5" before it actually catches. I'm sure when the cars were new the seats didn't move unless you actually flipped the catch on the side. Has anyone ever stripped down a seat to see why all this free play exists on our aging cars? I want to have a go at it, but any guidance as to what I may find when I remove the seat covering could be helpful.
  3. Hi guys, I need to remove my PS box to repair some damage caused by a leaking master cylinder. What size is that huge nut on the pitman arm? I only have a 1 1/4 socket and it's still too small. I presume that this is the best way to remove the box, rag joint, three chassis bolts, pitman arm and then remove by taking it all up where the booster and master cylinder have been removed?
