  1. Beautiful. Very nice stance and the wheels and tires really fit nicely. I love the garage space you have looks like a 4 car detached and two in the house. Thanks for sharing. Any interior shots of this fine car?
  2. Will do measure a whole bunch of times and order once and get it right. Thanks
  3. Very helpful. I will order up a set on Monday these are going to be perfect. I really appreciate it. Have you any pictures of your car from different angles showing off the wheel and tires fitment.? Thank you for your help.
  4. When you happen to have a chance to do so that would be great. Front and rear with offsets and tire brand and sizes. Thank you very much. They look amazing!
  5. What is the offset on them and is there a mini tub or all stock besides being lowered? I want to make sure I get it right the first time. Thank you.
  6. I need the two bolts that hold the trunk lid catch in place. Thanks
  7. Thank you much appreciated. I think I will be able to do this. I will send my newly acquired cluster out to the Tachman to have it restored and then install. On a side note what are the wheel and tired specs on your 70 Mustang they look nice! I would like to get the same setup for my car.
  8. That is a nice set up. I remember when blown and tunnels rammed motors were the big deal in the 70's and early 80's nice!!! Tempting.
  9. Ok I have sourced the tach dash. Next is I have heard that to adapt the wiring for the tach can be done without having to swap the harness out. Has anyone here done this and what are the steps in doing so. Also what changes need to be made for the oil pressure and amp gauges? I have a pod and two gauges that will go in the forward area of the console that I got from Tony Branda to complete the conversion. Any photos and step by step how to's would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Question. I have located a 1969 Mustang Tach dash set up standard interior ( black camera case housing. If I swap the gauges over to my 70 housing are they the same? I know the housings are but the gauges are they identical between 69 and 70? I will need to get the tach harness. I also will do the Shelby console gauge swap so I have the requisite correct set in the dash. Thanks!
  11. Nice car glad you are able to keep the Mustang. It is getting harder to find nice 69 and 70's anymore and the prices keep going up.
  12. WTB the two correct bolts that hold the trunk latch or catch to the rear deck lid on a 1970 Sportsroof. Thanks in advance
  13. I am looking for a 1970 Mustang Tach dash and wiring harness. Either standard black camera case type or the deluxe dash woodgrain. Must be in working condition. Thank you.
  14. Changed the gear oil in my differential along with the Posi lube.
  15. If your car has been sitting for 5 years unused I would spend the money and go through the entire brake system to protect your investment and more importantly yourself and others on the road. Boosters, master cylinders, wheel cylinders, calipers, and fluid sitting unused for that long typically will present with issues. Just go through it all replace, clean flush it etc... Same for fuel system, coolant, oil and filter trans fluid if it is automatic. Belts and hoses typically dry rot as well. No matter the cost even if it is a bit costly I always pose this question. "What is your safety worth to you?"
  16. I just added a fold down to my 1970 Sportsroof. I think I can help I have a complete non fold down rear set up everything you need. I have the metal tray and cardboard cover that covers over it along will all of the brackets end caps bolts screws etc..... If you want it it you can have it all for $100.00 plus shipping. The color is the dark green. Very nice condition from a very low milage clean car. Thank you
  17. I drive the car sparingly and keep it clean and garaged but when I take it out yes I drive it hard and have a blast with it. Thanks all for the nice compliments, much appreciated!
  18. It is all stated above. But I pulled the specs for you here you go. front is lowered 2 inches. 1 and 3/4 Shelby drop and 1" front lowering springs. That will equate to a real 2" drop. The actual 2 and 3/4 number in reality is 2" no more no matter what they claim. I have done this drop on 20 plus 69 and 70 Mustangs and get always 100% true 2" inch drop. The rear 3 inches with lowering blocks. No roller fender lips no banging of inner rear panels for fitment. Front wheels Appliance wheels 15x7 4.25 backspacing . Rear wheels Appliance wheels 15x10 custom 5 and 3/4 backspacing. No rubbing nothing. I am not a big fan of the rack and pinion and coil over conversions as in my opinion ruin the value of the car. Once that has been done it is hard, .Hard to return to stock again just my point of view and works for me. I respect others that do all sorts of stuff to these cars just not my way. If the shelby drop worked for the vintage Trans AM racers should be fine for the street.
  19. front is lowered 2 inches. Shelby drop and lowering springs. The rear 3 inches with lowering blocks, Front wheels Appliance wheels 15x7 4.25 back spacing 235/60/15 B.F. Goodrich radial TA's Rear wheels Appliance wheels 15x10 custom 5 and 3/4 backspacing 275/60/15 B.F. Goodrich radial TA"s I saved these wheels I had made up years ago at a wheel shop to get the right look if I may. Appliance wheels are very similar to the Cragar wheels but better. The wheels are all steel not pot metal and easy to break like the cragars. Downside is they are heavy. Thanks hope that helps
  20. Awesome build very fine workmanship and it shows! Bravo! Well done!
  21. Would one of the moderators move this to project car thread please? Thank you
