  1. I have purchased my PBC Kit from Mustang Steve and I am ready to start on the 4 disc power brake coversion. After having some side bar conversations with Steve I am on track however I have a few questions that I felt I should post here to help fellow forum members looking for some help also. 9 years ago I removed the brake pedal housing assembly and did not take any pictures of how it is assembled under the dash or how the clutch and brake pedals go on. The brake pedal is mounted in its new location described on the FAQ page on boosters and pedals on Mustang Steves web page. The first picture shows the assembly from the front. Is this correct??? The second picture shows the assembly from the back. The last 2 pictures shown with a red sharpe pen pointing to the end of the brake pedal. The end of the pedal hits the housing when it swings back and forth. If I have this assembled correctly, do I grind the end of the pedal to allow it to swing freely. Thanks
  2. Thank you! Motor tested perfect and works well
  3. 2013 Mustang Sterling Gray Metallic
  4. I came across this ash tray and housing for it while I was rummaging thru a '69 Coupe junk car a few weeks ago. Thought I was going to use it since I did not have one but it will be in the way of the center console I am going to custom make. Its been media blasted with plastic media and the ash tray itself has been primered. Not sure what its worth so if your interested PM me with an offer. Its in perfect working condition. I have more pictures if needed.
  5. A new wiper motor costs about $60 with a core trade in. I would like to bench test the one I have but I dont know how to. If its still works I'm gonna clean her up, paint then re-install. Anyone know how to bench test this motor? Thanks
  6. Mike did you ever locate new bushings? If not what did you do? I am in need of 4 new ones (I have 2 and missing 2) and have not seen them repo'd. Thanks
  7. I put a small screw just in that place. Will post pictures over the weekend for future posts/use.
  8. I just had to be sure that before I went and clipped the beltline on the door I put it on right. If it went on the wrong way I would have destroyed it trying to take it off. Thank you.
  9. Who has installed these on their car? There has too be a right way and a wrong way to install them on each door. They are not marked RH/LH. Once they are installed they are a PAI to get off if you don't bend them all up trying to. Thanks again
  10. Not sure what you mean but if anyone has this same beltline with this clip end I could sure use some help.
  11. Thank you but this did not help. The outside belt line does not get rivited in, it has clips that get clipped in. Anybody?
  12. I was able to pick up LH/RH Beltline weather stripping yesterday. Does this end shown in the picture go towards the front of the car or back. Thanks
  13. I was wondering where you disappeared to. Bigger TOOL BOX!! Arrhh!! Running 220 Line for your tools, nice break from the car. NOW back to work!
  14. So I just finished cleaning up the Roof Rail Door Channel Trim and need to replace the weather stripping/seal that goes between the trim and the body and the heavy duty foam seal that the window closes up against when closed. What are you guys using and where can I buy them. I have attached photos of the trim that I am talking about. Thanks
  15. Got it! Headed to the junkyard this morning for my e-brake out of a '91 mustang.
  16. Thanks. Got any pix of the e-hadle set up from inside the car to share.
  17.:yes:Hey Guys I was pointed in the right direction. There is a guy named Daze and has a website that contains what I was looking for. I have gotten help from his site before and forgot about his site. http://home.bresnan.net/~dazed/DazeCars Hope this helps you also.
  18. Lets narrow the request down a little. I would like to move my current E-Brake location on a '69 Coupe to the top of the center tunnel. Not interested in a center console as I will be fabbing my own. Any project out there to help me with. Thanks
  19. I would like to replace my current e-brake setup in my 69coupe with one in the center console. Is there a kit I can buy; an ebrake system I can get out of a car? I have converted my 69 coupe 4 drum to a 4 disc set up. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
  20. My car never did come with a package tray and even if it did it probably would have been crap anyways. I decided to make my own as I do most things out of 3/16" thick Masonite. A 4 x 8 Sheet cost me $14 at Lowes. Gots lots left over for another project some day. Maybe a package tray for you, LOL. I did not have a pattern to trace so I started out slow and made some cradboard patterns until I was happy with the fit. Transferred the pattern to the Masonite which was real easy to cut with a jig saw and trim with a small hand plainer. I was real happy at the end of the day with the fit. Went over to Hancock Fabric to look at black vinyl to cover it during the week. I took the time to trace the pattern to some brown craft paper so if any of you guys want to take on the same project I will mail you the pattern for FREE. I did not trace the speaker holes as yours will be different than mine since I had to rebuild them. Someone butchered mine. You can trace the in after you are happy with your fitment. Anyways, if you want a pattern, PM me with your address and I'll get it mailed USPS. Bill
