  1. Well I can answer the last three ( i have a 69 ), The hood length is within a 1/4 in acuracy and i got 58.5 inches including the trim, but not including the cowl. The rockers were both exactly the same at 60 and 3/8 inch at the top ( i measured from the front side of the rear wheel well to where the door and fender intersect. The deck lid was 43 and 3/8 fore and an even 43 aft., (where the letters "m u s t a n g" are) hope it helps! I've always thought it would be an awesome looking custom if it were about a foot wider and 6 inches shorter.
  2. Well everyone seems to agree so far.... rebuild. Thanks for that link 69stangrestomod! Is it possible to drill the holes wrong in the process?.. it looks like it would be better than original hinges since the pin is a larger diameter and those "oil impregnated" bushings look to be bigger too. So your happy with the result?

  4. OK... so my hinges either need rebuilding or I need new hinges. Have any of you rebuilt them before and were you happy with the outcome? The doors are off the car now and I want to tackle this before I reinstall them. Anyone....anyone? Thanks in advance! By the way its a 69 fastback,

  6. Have you driven the car hard around corners or just rolled it ? There may be a difference in clearance once you put it through the ringer.

  8. So this is what im workin on right now too. Passenger side trunk floor, pan in front of the tank, full length floor pans on both sides, and taillight panel. I've already welded in the floors with a mig and ran short beads until they were all joined. But in areas where the original spot welds were visible, I wasnt sure how to tackle that. I have a buddy who loaned me an air tool that punches a 1/4 in. hole on one side and presses in a flange on the other.... now i get to use it!
