  13. I'm in the paint part of my resto. What I did on some parts (stone deflector, front and rear valance) was just scuff it with 220 grit till it was really dull looking and almost to bare metal then I used Eastwood paint prep which is something like lacquer thinner. Then I shot it with Eastwoods epoxy primer to get a clean smooth look. I haven't shot the final coat and clear yet because I'm gonna take it to a professional but its ready for it. The rest of the body I stripped all the way down with my Bad Boy soda blaster
  14. Oh wait, that didn't your question at all. Sorry lol. I saw the thread and got carried away. LOL though it might not of answered my questions there was a lot of information in your response and I didn't even think about they cheaper ones not having the "keyfob" I will keep looking into it though.
  15. LOL that was my fault I fixed the description of the question so now it wont be so confusing.
  16. Has anyone and has anyone seen a push button ignition installed in a 69 Stang? I think it would be pretty cool if you could do it right and not make it look like something that should be in a strip car (which most of them do) Contemplating the idea myself just wondering if theres any info on it or pics floating around out there.
  17. I would of liked to try and salvage mine but they were toasted and when I took off the skin of the passenger side it looked like at some point did a partial patch of the upper part and didn't bother to try and make it look good so they threw 10LBS of body filler on it to get the lines straight
  18. Thanks Mike let me know if you find it. I got my wire harness today from American Autowire and opened it up. Looks to me like its 100% complete everything is nicely labeled with great instructions also the quality of it is great. Cant wait to start putting mine in.
