  2. ok, went out and checked everything again, all lites turn on with lite switch, right side turn signals work, front and back, and brake lite when i hit the pedal. but, left side turn signals don't work, front or back, left rear lite brake pedal dosen't work when pressed, i'll probly end up taking it in to a electrical shop, man, i hate to do that. forgot to add, i cleaned all connections, checked #'s on bulbs
  3. yes i'm using the 1157 bulbs, i'm going out and check to c if the brake lites work, i did change the flasher with a new one, i guess i'll have to go out and clean everything, i'm sure its a simple thing, but not at the moment, thanks the info, jerry
  4. hi, last nite my left turn lite stopped blinking, right is fine, so this mnrning i changed both back and front bulbs, nothing changed, front left turn signal lite stays lite but won't blink, could it be the flasher fuse?, been a long time since i had to work on the lites, and getting old dosen't help either, thanks jerry
  5. hi all, was reading about the custom tail lites on the 69, very nice, i don't want to ruin the orig lens, so, any one know where i can pick up a set of lens?, thanks jerry

  7. ok, i used my presure sprayer on the car, also used a garden hose in the cowl area, cleaning the eng compartment, found a little water on the floor on drivers side, so i checked the eng comp again and found a 3/8's hole on the fire wall, could be the problems, i'll just have to keep watching/. thanks for all the advise, jerry
  8. i washed my mustang the other day, found some water in the front drivers side on floor, could be from the cowl area, only guessing, but if it is, whats involved in fixing it? thanks jerry
  9. i just got a awake up call, no shops repair radiators any more, unless you go custom, went to have my 69 mach 1 rad fixed, went to 7 or 8 places, finally had to order a new one.
  10. to Mike 65, did u read the whole post, i said i ordered a new benzel to replace the one i altered, radio was still new in box, and they still wouldn't refund my money,
  11. ok, sound like some have good experience with them, some not, and i'm one other nots. i bought the radio benzel combo for $308, what they s ent me was a radio that only7 cost $69, and the benzel for 108, i called them and they said they would refund the money, then i told them i had altered the benzel, then they said mno refund, so i bought a new benzel and was going to replace it with the radio and send it back, but they said they wouyldn't refund the money, so they screwed me out of around $160 bucks, if u want to deal with them, great, but i won't.

  14. just to give ya a update, i pulled my mustang from this shop in woodhaven, mi, they hadn't work on it in a month, and sounded like they were going out of business, another shiop fixed it, so i turned in the 1 shop to Michigan licensing & regulations & there going after the shop, maybe i'll get some of my money back,. on aside track, wheres a good place to find out the value of a mustang

  16. ok, kinda long story. took in mustang for a flex plate change, or fly wheel, what ever u want to call it. it was chewed up pretty bad, found lots of chips, and they suggested a trans over haul, finished, took it home, put in garage, went for a ride the next day, half way down the block, when i took off all i heard was a screatch and bang, with foot on the gas it came to a screaching halt, called them up and they had to towit back in, ok, its been there for 3 weeks now, they say they ordered part, they said it had to do with the park spot on the trans, and also in part itss not always in park but still in reverse. looks like a finger with a pivot hole in it, don't know if there BS me or what, any way, i'll give them another week and i go for a lawyer, do u know what i'/m trying to say here?, thanks jerry

  25. thanks for the info guys, reading both posts, right, CD's probly won't be around long, but then neither will I, looking at the 2 diff things about radios, the one for 300, and the other for the face plate, which on the side has a radio for 150 bucks, thanks, i'll check out both, jerry
