Picked up a offenhauser daul carb intake wondering if it would work right on a stock 302 with a mild cam, or would it run like crap. Thanks.

The motor is still in my buddies car so I dont know what it looks like.

I was given a complete 1969 4v 351 engine today. Bad news is that it has a small crack I was told behind the fly wheel. Would it be worth having it welded or should I try to find another 69 block.

what do you guys think? Hood scoop question
tray bright replied to rchappelear's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Both should work fine, use the one you like best. You can always change it later if you dont like it. Just dont put a cowl induction scoop on it. -
You got my vote.

Find you a local shop and have them build you a engine, probably come out cheaper. A lot of shops are hurting for business. Crate moter will be the quicker replacement. Good Luck.
