  1. Get's more interesting. Problem occurs after ~ 20 minutes of driving... Fluid must be bad!
  2. 93 or 91 would be best... 2-5 MPG? there is something wrong. Nothing to do with Octane.

  4. The MC and Booster came as a matched set..... What about if I change the pedal to booster rod to an adjustable one as mentioned by another member? Thoughts?

  6. great find! I apparently might have a similar problem. Just remember in a PB setup there are two rods - the one from the brake pedal into the booster and the rod from the booster to the MC... see post http://www.1969stang.com/mustang/forum/showthread.php?p=47392#post47392 question is will this part you found allow me and you for that matter to change the pedal travel and throw from the booster to the master without taking out the booster (which is a royal PIA)

  8. The pedal to MC setup is same as original. Doesn't appear to be a problem there. When the brakes were beginning to seize up - the peddal itself was almost like I had no "power" at all.. Stiff!

  10. OK, she runs. had her out the other day. On the way home if felt like the brakes are binding. Sure enough the front brakes are hung up and the rears are just at the point of binding. Pedal is up al the way but hard to push in! Brake lights are ran from a pressure switch off master and the are always on! It has a new master, booster, calipers, wheel cylinders etc.... Idea's?

  12. Why do you have to remove the timing chain cover to replace a fuel pump? The only component behind it for the fuel pump is the lobe that mounts on the timing chain gear... Is that what is bad? Never heard that before. If so, electric is an easy fix if you say you don't want to split the cover. I've run a carter for over a yr now with no issues....

  16. I ended up going to my local Lowes hardware store and in the nuts and bolt section they carry body fender clips etc... I ended up using the push in type that also has a philips head push in pin to expand the clip. I'm sure the auto part stores also have them... Total cost - 5x.68 or $3.40 Tight fit, no rattle or play at all!
  17. 60 killed ya.......... There is a lot there alone! (sorry don't imply that I am or I'm trying to be a back seat quarterback!)
  18. I know by posting this I'm wide open for crap and shit but the only analogy is... FMX Ford = PowerGluide Chevy, Both on edge when you push the motor!
  19. Very True- Goodyear built a custom sized set to fit the 05-06 Ford GT..... Fronts 235/45-18 fronts 315/40-19 rear..... try to find a replacement.... rated at 200 MPH! I challenge you!
  20. Congrats! It's a great feeling finishing it off isn't it. I'd drive mine today but the weather went to 40F here...........................
  21. Is that Super Damper for a 6 cyl? Do I read that right. Are you implying a 6 cyl Stroker? or is it set up fro SB with 4 bolt crank mounting. When I had my motor stroked the new crank was set up with 5 bolts.... Good luck on the sale!
  22. I've had multiple sets on my Ford GT.... Goodyears are DANGEROUS! When it's below 50f, they drive like being on ICE! When I burn off this set I will be going to Hoosiers R6's in the rear and Dunlop SU9000's in the front! ANYTHING but Goodyears!

  24. Randall's Rack! Easy install! And drives even better. Should have installed it YEARS ago! I can't tell you how different it feels compared to the original PS system.... only that it is truly bringing the car into the 21st century as far as performance... http://www.randallsrack.com/ as FLyBoy stated I also heard of stories of Flaming River........
