Notams 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2020 Looking for some advice here. I was going to put the windshield stops in the other day. Simple right? Should take all of two minutes. I bought new stops to replace the old ones. When I matched them to the holes (already there from the old ones) they match just fine. The problem is... the rubber portion of the drivers side stop sits flush with the edge. The passenger side stop, when matched with the holes, sits about 3/16" higher above the ledge. Attaching pics to help clarify. Is this normal? I would think that they should both identical, but I don't know. I have never installed a windshield on a '69 Mustang. I tried researching this and could not find any answers. So turning to those of you who have done it before. Thanks in advance.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 6, 2020 Pay no attention to how the stops are, you just need to adjust the windshield so it's even all the way around.
