  1. Thanks MTF. I watched your video on the windshield install. Very helpful.
  2. Looking for some advice here. I was going to put the windshield stops in the other day. Simple right? Should take all of two minutes. I bought new stops to replace the old ones. When I matched them to the holes (already there from the old ones) they match just fine. The problem is... the rubber portion of the drivers side stop sits flush with the edge. The passenger side stop, when matched with the holes, sits about 3/16" higher above the ledge. Attaching pics to help clarify. Is this normal? I would think that they should both identical, but I don't know. I have never installed a windshield on a '69 Mustang. I tried researching this and could not find any answers. So turning to those of you who have done it before. Thanks in advance.
  3. So adding another factor to this discussion. I am in the process now of adjusting my doors. Reading everyone's suggestions with interest. I came across some instructions somewhere on the interwebs that said in order to adjust the doors correctly, they need to be done at their normal weight (ie, the weight they would be with windows, soundproofing, panels and speakers installed). They recommended putting weights in the doors if you did not have everything installed yet to approximate the actual weight they will be at. Does that sound correct? Also, I have not installed any of the seals yet. Should this be done before any adjustments? Do you guys use any type of spacers
  4. A little delayed, but thanks for the pics guys. I went ahead and purchased the MTF one-piece with overhead console. For MTF: I asked a question on your site regarding seat belts. Please let me know the answer as soon as you can. Thanks.
  5. Hey RPM and Newstang. Can you guys post some pics of your one-piece headliner? I am on the fence on this one. I'd like to see how they look before I spend that much. How do they attach to the roof? Were you able to install by yourself or did you need a second set of hands?
  6. So I tried searching the site before posting this question but did not see it addressed anywhere. I need to replace the interior pillar post molding on my coupe. I've seen them on CJ Pony but the reviews were bad. Large gaps, holes not aligning, etc. I think they were Scott Drake products. I found them on NPD, but no reviews on their quality. Has anyone found a good source for these? I sure wish I could find the old ones I had removed and attempt to repair them. The bottom tabs were broken and I figured I could just get some aftermarket pieces, so I have no idea if I threw them out years ago or just lost them around the house. Had no idea this would be such an issue. Anyone have any originals for sale? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the update along with the pics. Looks great so far. My coupe just went into paint and body. Probably be another two months before I see it back. But I'm ready to purchase the headliner anytime it's put into production. Will the upper console be an option like on the fastback, or will it be part of the standard package? If an option, how much additional? I kind of like it.
  8. Any updates MTF? The last update I've seen was from December 1st. Went to your website and still only see the fastback style.
  9. Hello MTF. Just checking in for any updates.
  10. Hey Cobra. I haven't had a chance to test mine out yet, but I ended up going with the B&M Hammer on a 4R70W. I had asked around when I was researching and that was the one that had been recommended by more than a few people. There are some videos of it in action on youtube, just type in B&M Hammer. I don't care for the big plastic housing that comes with it but I will be building my own console to enclose it anyway. I'm not sure how it would work on an "original" console. I can provide a pic of it installed for mock up right now but it is far from the "final look" that you're requesting and I have positioned it back a ways form the original shifter location. Sorry I can't help anymore than that. I am still a few months from completion and won't be getting a chance to test it out until then.
  11. Please include me in on the group buy (black, without console). Definitely interested and ready to buy now.
  12. Thanks Trinitys. I did send an email to West Coast Cougar. I never heard back from them. I will give them a call tomorrow. As far as the regulators go, I ordered the '69-'70 power window kit from CJ. Hoping I won't have any issues there. I don't know if you read my response to Rsanter above, but when I mentioned I tried to send a PM to a couple of people and got the message " so and so cannot receive any new messages", you were the first one I had attempted to contact.
  13. @Rsanter Hey Bob. I tried sending you a PM but for some reason everytime I try to PM someone, the site tells me the person can't receive any new messages. I'll have to figure out what's up with that. I noticed in your profile that you're from Visalia. That's my hometown. We may even know each other because we're about the same age. I graduated from Mt. Whitney in 1983. My last name is Grasso.
