Shep69 149 Report post Posted May 16, 2017 Im in the process of fitting my quarter extension pieces. I have new hardware that includes the studs ,washers , soft rubbery washers and flange nuts. Just wondering do the standard washers go over the Extension studs prior to fitting or on the inside of the trunk . The kit has a few extra soft rubbery washers as well. moodster 55 Report post Posted May 16, 2017 The washers go on the inside of the trunk to prevent water from leaking in. The holes are much larger than the stud to allow the extensions to be lined up.
