stangnet33 88 Report post Posted November 12, 2016 My floor mats are in need of being refurbishing. I'm checking to see if anyone has had any luck recoloring/dying theirs. Hard to see in the pic's but in places it looks like when you bend a piece of colored plastic you get that washed out/discolored look. 69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted November 13, 2016 I'd give them a good scrub with a brush and soap and then try some SEM vinyl dye. The downside is that they are red and red dyes vary from batch to batch. I have a red interior so I know very well how hard it can be to get a good dye. Those are the classic running horse mats and worth keeping, though. I bought some from JC Whitney 40 years ago and wish I still had them, LOL!
