RPM 1,190 Report post Posted August 20, 2016 I'd like to remove all the fasteners on the front trim in order to clean them up and polish them. I've got a couple of the fasteners that don't want to come around the corner for removal. I noticed that the molding has an area on the back side where the lip has a bit of an opening. Does the rectangular style of fastener come out of the channel. The funky looking fastener with the spring leg came out real easy. Any tips to remove them are appreciated. RPM 1,190 Report post Posted August 21, 2016 The rectangular base bolts came out thru the relieved center area of the trim base. The bottom end of the trim is too narrow for the bolt to slide out. Took some finesse and wiggling, but doable.
