SWEET69 2 Report post Posted April 8, 2016 Hey all, I couldn't really find answers in the existing topics. I need to put 275/60/15's on an 8" rim under the rear of my 69 fastback, car is lowered. Will these fit or do I need to massage the front inside of the tub?, if a massage is required how much needs modifying and the best way to do it please. Thanks in advance. MikeStang 247 Report post Posted April 8, 2016 They will fit without massaging if you got the right wheels. 1 SWEET69 reacted to this
SWEET69 2 Report post Posted April 8, 2016 I will be trimming the diff to suit the back space on the Weld rims I already have
Stangboy 14 Report post Posted April 8, 2016 You shouldn't have to modify the wheel wells at all. I ran 28x10.5 slicks on 15x10 rims on my '69 with just the fender lips rolled. 2 SWEET69 and Stangboy reacted to this

MikeStang 247 Report post Posted April 8, 2016 I'm running 275-40-18's on the rear of mine, and its got a 65-66 length housing in it and I rolled the fender lips which I really didn't need to do with these rims and they fit just right.. I believe they are 18x9.5" 1 SWEET69 reacted to this
