car shows, car events, car racing near Las Vegas in January

I am Tom from Munich. You know me by some crazy questions in this forum.  ;)

In January, form the 6th to 16th, I will be in Las Vegas.
 

At this time, are there car shows, car events, car racing, etc.?  Maybe in LA or Phoenix or ...?
I find nothing in the www. :(

Hey Tom, I think we all have crazy questions, so that alone won't single you out here :)  I have no idea about January, but just last weekend the NHRA drags were there, and this week is SEMA. The Las Vegas Speedway has a rent a car deal where you can hot lap cars. When I was gassing up my car while driving thru a month ago, there were a few exotics including a Ferrari doing laps.
