mustangmike6996 34 Report post Posted June 14, 2015 I have a 4 speed toploader and a stock 8 inch rear end(open diff with 2.79:1 ratio I think) 255/50/17 (27.04" diameter). I am assebling the car and will be adding a traclock and new gears eventually (probably a 3:90-ish:1) I have found a few speedo gear calculators/charts but I am not 100% sure what to choose. I dont know what gear is currently in the trans and I dont have a speedo cable at the moment so my starting point is only the info I have in the first line.
