Topless69GT 28 Report post Posted September 28, 2014 I bought my convertible top hydraulic cylinders from Scott Drake a while back and I installed them today and they won't allow the top to fully go up. They seem like they need to be a little bit longer. I compared them to several other original ones and they do appear to be short by 5/8 and keep my top from fully going up. Has anyone else had this issue with new top cylinders?

69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted September 30, 2014 power top Yeah, a quick google search revealed they don't even reproduce the manual cylinders so I should have known. It would bother me that there's a 5/8" difference from OEM. Maybe a call to Scott Drake is in order - I see they're made in China, maybe a bad production run or something. I found these guys on-line who are made in USA and on sale (cheaper than Scott Drake), might be an option? http://www.convertiblecylindersdirect.com/catalog/item/7730627/8233397.htm
Topless69GT 28 Report post Posted September 30, 2014 Thank you. I called Scott Drake yesterday and they are suppose to call me back today. I also emailed the company you gave me the link to and asked them to send me a measurement to see if they will work. Thank you!
