American Auto Wire install need some help

Of I'm on the down hill side of the install and I have hit a snag and AAW Tech support was no help.

I am using a starter from a 2003 Ford 302 which is same one for 351.

These are the high torque minis.

I have battery and solenoid in trunk and have run all wiring back there and hooked the pos. Cable to starter but there is a pigtail coming off the starter and I have no idea what to hook to it...The power wire from the trunk is only hot when I hit the key will that make it start or does this pigtail need to be hooked in to the trigger wire also like the remote solenoid?

Pigtail needs to be hooked to the starter side of the starter solenoid next to the shock tower

Cool so I need to run ANOTHER wire to the trunk where the solenoid is mounted then lol.

Thought that would be the case :-/
