Stang-up 10 Report post Posted June 29, 2014 I'm sure this has probably been brought up before. New to the forum and couldn't find this topic. However, can someone tell me what's the largest size tire to fit an 18 inch rim and still tuck underneath the wheel wells? I'm wanting to run 18x8 up front and 18x 9.5 rear.
rwcstang 204 Report post Posted June 29, 2014 I have 275/40 using an 18x10 wheel. You can fit up to 315 with massaging of the rear wheel well.

70fastbak 16 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 A 315 on a 9.5 and you would have some sidewall bulge. I would say a 295 and if your backspacing is good you wont have to do anything. Maybe trim down your bumpstop bracket on the frame.
