Final assembly of cowl grill, question

Is there anything that goes between the cowl grill and the windshield trim clip/brackets that eliminates rattttling when you slide the cowl grill under the lower windshield trim, or is that what the square rubber blocks are for....joe

I have 2 rectangular foam blocks under my cowl panel.. only thing I could find during disassembly.

YEP, two foam support blocks (1 per side) approx. 2" x 2" x 3 or 4" Long.

 

It has been many years since I had my cowl off, so the dims. are just a guess.

 

Don't know if these are reproduced or not.
