69Midd4Stang 10 Report post Posted April 8, 2014 Is there any means of replacing / repairing the mastic seal that flexes between the two backglass pieces on a convertible top? Or does this mean its time to replace the top entirely? This would seem to be a shame as the top is in good condition other then the seal.

Kris 90 Report post Posted April 9, 2014 I went with the plastic curtain for that reason. My car came with the plastic window anyways but I thought about going with the glass until I saw where people had problems with the crap seal. Made my decision easy. Plastic window was cheaper and doesn't have the seal issue. For the price of the folding glass, you can also replace the plastic curtain 4 times over and still not spend as much or have a leaky seal. Kind of a no brainer in my book.
