MVanBeuren 10 Report post Posted January 11, 2014 Does any one know how to remove a seat belt buckel from the belt on a 69 Ford Mustang. These are the deluxe ones with chome platting around the edges and the starburst push botton. Any help you would be appriciated. Marlene
Kris 90 Report post Posted January 11, 2014 Are you talking about taking the plastic part off or actually taking the entire buckle off the belt?
indianfiremach 170 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) If you are just trying to remove the plastic trim, you need two regular screwdrivers. Work them each in between the plastic and the metal of the buckle. Eventually, the plastic top will pop off as you move the screwdrivers around, putting a little pressure on the plastic to pop it off.
