Zipppo 11 Report post Posted November 29, 2013 I would like to buy a set of Minilite wheels 15x8 for a 1969 Sportsroof. Used are fine or a link to where one can purchase new ones. Lastly if anyone is running these if you could provide offset/backspacing, tire sizes that will fit and some pictures on 1969-70 Mustangs. Thanks in advance. RPM 1,190 Report post Posted November 29, 2013 Check with Powershift on his build in the garage section. I do know that new are quite pricey, but oh so cool! Bob
rangerdoc 22 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 When I was looking for them I stumbled across a company in Ohio that imports them but they are expensive. Just google minilite wheels and you'll find them. Recommend ebay and craigslist and hit up other forums as well. That's how I ended up with mine...which are an Australian version. I know I recently saw someone selling some shelby minilites on a forum but I can remember which one. Do they have to be authentic minilites? Vintage Wheel Works sells a good looking wheel that is similar to the original minilite.
70Mach03 12 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 The new NPD Catalog has them on page 63. They're called "Vintage 48's" and go for $1148 a set. They are in a 16x8 size which might give you more tire choices in the performance category.
