FirstCar69 10 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 Anyone put a new motor (88 or so) in and 69 mustang and use a serpentine belt set up? I just finished mine and wanted to see how others ran there belt. I am running a power steering pump, alt, water pump and crank set up. I think it's right but figured it won't hurt to ask. Two options being 1- 5.0 front end of motor or 2- custom which is what I did with single belt when motor was out. Super Birthday Snake 11 Report post Posted November 14, 2013 I've got an 89 5.0 in mine with PS, Alt, Water and Crank. I had to get the A/C delete to move the power steering pump upwards to fit the belt and bought a shorter belt. I don't have a picture but I could draw one if that helps or get one at the weekend?
