Plastic overflow tank from later model Mustang?

Anyone tried to fit one of the curved plastic overflow tanks onto a 69-70 shroud? This is the type I am referring to. Maybe would have to install late model shroud as well?

Good question and good idea. How about building a tank like Buckeyedemon did for his car? I'm sure he still has pics on his build thread somewhere. If not I have them on my pc so I can load them if you want. B.

I see to recall someone did it, but they modified the late model fan and shroud to fit the early radiator. I can't for the life of me remember what forum or who it was though!

Here they are. I believe he bought a universal neck assembly but I don't remember where from. I'm sure some hotrod suppliers will have it. B.

And a few more. There is one more pic but for the life of me it won't load. It shows the metal tubes coming out the back for the hose and overflow. B.

It is cool that it is stealth and fits so neatly in a non-utilized area. I am not so concerned with hiding it though. I like to visibly spot check when the radiator is puking and like the visible plastic bottle but don't see a convenient place to put it. The late model Mustang bottle seemed like a viable option.

Another option depending on what your fan shroud looks like and the look you are going for (isn't see through though)
