TX427Cobra 19 Report post Posted August 19, 2013 Might anyone have pics that show how the bolts and nuts mount the fender...specifically the lower rocker attaching point and the bolt that you access through the hinge area? I have no experience with how these special nuts and hardware should be affixed. Thanks.
MustangChuck 16 Report post Posted August 20, 2013 No pictures, but if I recall, there is a tab under the fender at the top, attached to the cowl area, that holds the top bolt. There are two at the base of the fender, between the wheel well and the door. There is one in front of the wheel well, which has a brace that attaches to the body. Then the series of bolts along the engine bay. Shimming the top, cowl area bolt is a PITA. The rest are pretty easy access on and off. That's if memory serves..... TX427Cobra 19 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) Thanks so much. So I got the bracket figured out, but how does the square nut mount? It doesn't fit the square hole? Thanks. Edited August 21, 2013 by TX427Cobra
