Is there a difference between 69/70 front spoiler

I have a 1969 and went to a local supplier to purchase a front spoiler. In stock he only had a 1970 spoiler. Is there a difference between 69/70. Would the 1970 be an improvement over the 69 and will it still bolt to the front valance and if I got the 1970 would I have to make any modifications such as drilling new holes. Also, is there a side bracket needed?

I just saw that the 60 spoiler has 3 large holes for mounting and the 1970 has several.

 

I would think Ford retooled the spoiler and made an improvement for mounting, but has the improvement changed the design??? If not I would buy the 1970.

Either should fit without any issue. The pan is the same shape & size.

The 69 spoiler texture is different and the tips of the 69 spoiler are pointed vs.the 70 spoiler tips are rounded off.
