DIY fan shroud for 3 bucks

was having some minor heating problems 3/4 needle at idle

 

now the needle stays at 1/4 at idle all the time

 

I cut the top of 200 gal a barrel reinforcement

Nice creativity.

 

I would have gone with a 24" radiator myself. If you are gonna stick with the 20", you should get those inserts that block airflow through that gap. That is air the needs to go through the radiator, not around it.

whats more funny about it is that when I take it to mechanic shops they never notice thats is homemade when I tell them they put a DAQu face :001_huh: , they always say man I should put this to "any old 4x4 vehicle" the other day can I please take some pics to call that custumer

 

^ indeed, let us kno how she handles on temperature

the needle never leaves the E from the gauge even ideling, without the shroud it was always on the 3/4 range

 

 

locally a guy had a aluminum made for his bronco it was kinda cool but it was more difficult to make if I see his bronco again Ill post some pics maybe someone will like the boxxy shape

that radiator came with the stang, If I ever change it Ill do what you reccomend

 

In the meantime, so many people convert from 20" to 24" radiators, I bet a host pf people would send you those panels for free.

it would be cool if some one have them Ill pay for shipping of course,maybe in the meantime I can make temporaly those with the left around pieces that I have from the back speakers panel that I made
