Mountaineerfan 44 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Hey gang! I'm planning on changing over the interior of my car from ivy gold (blech!) to black. My door panels have the metal door garnish rail on it. I've priced new ones at $184 a pair . There is nothing wrong with the ones I have. Can I bead blast these, then prime and paint them? And if so, What type/color of black paint do you recommend? Matte? Semigloss? Thanks!

Mountaineerfan 44 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Thanks for the link! Do you think the rails would be ok in a bead blaster?
JCB-69CJ 11 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Sorry , I don't have any experience with them. Mine are in good shape so I just painted over them.
