TF69 14 Report post Posted January 12, 2013 Anybody ever try to leave a review of a part they purchased to help others not purchase it in future? They almost seem like fake reviews I purchased a bunch of parts from them for my 69, some parts were great but the door shells were complete garbage and felt people in future should know so tried to leave review to warn others to stick with a higher grade door shell like dynacorn/goodmark. Almost like they were 2nd's/3rd's. In the end I ended up cutting the lower rear section out of them to rebuild my old ones and ordered dynacorn door skins. Definately learned to stick with what works on past projects and stay with vendors that sell better products.
miketyler 15 Report post Posted January 12, 2013 I was able to leave negative review for their trunk carpet kits. Took a few days for it to post. I think they may be manually reviewing them before they post
TF69 14 Report post Posted January 12, 2013 Glad to hear that reviews work, don't like the manual review feature because of allowing certain ones to be posted.
dsc2 10 Report post Posted January 12, 2013 I think you have to separate the customer service and part quality. I deal with NPD and some repro parts are crap others good. Which ones can change from time to time. Many times I ending "combining" the old and new part to make something acceptable. You have to also remember when Ford Service Parts were ready available some of them, like bumpers, where not the greatest quality either.
