panteramatt 1 Report post Posted December 16, 2012 I need a new aircleaner for my mach1. I have a 14" dropbase and the k&n extreme lid. SO, heres a couple questions: 1. When I put the base on, it seems to pinch the gas line going to the carb. Its not a lot but still. Is there a way around this? 2. Should I use the extreme lid? Ive read several posts saying people lost hp with them on. 3. I like the look of the oval cleaners but Im afraid of clearance from the hood, distributor. 4. After searching for hours this is pretty much the only one I found that I liked at a decent price.
