Nightowl 10 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Does anyone have a picture of where the switch and how it is mounted on the transmission for a top loader 4 speed? I can't remember if there was some sort of bracket that was used to hold the switch. I believe there was something there that held that switch to the tranny. I am going to install the Hurst shifter, and take the Mr. Gasket vertical gate shifter out. Thanks. :001_smile: Edited August 10, 2012 by Nightowl
Flanders 47 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 hopefully someone can post a pic sooner, but if not, I can snap a pic of mine once it's back from the garage (early next week). 4 spd toploader with Hurst.

Nightowl 10 Report post Posted August 11, 2012 The 2 wires on the switch go to where? The plug behind the engine that has a wire loop in it?
69gmachine 15 Report post Posted August 11, 2012 Yes, that's the plug.
LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted August 11, 2012 The 2 wires on the switch go to where? The plug behind the engine that has a wire loop in it? They connect to the black/red wires of the square 4 plug at the firewall.
