d.reese 13 Report post Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I have a 351c that came with screw in studs with ford guide plates and stock rockers, but the stock 8.4" long pushrods that came with the motor are to short and letting the rockers hit the screw in studs with out any adjustments. Can someone tell me if they encountered this before and if they know what length pushrods I need so everything will clear?? jmlay 80 Report post Posted July 24, 2012 Ideally you should purchase an adjustable pushrod to find the optimum length & order what you need. There are several manufactures & if you need a custom length Smith Brothers make a very nice product. http://www.thedirtforum.com/pushrodlengths.htm
