six_sigma 12 Report post Posted May 10, 2012 I grabbed a small bulldog clip removed the handles and then flattened it. After that I took it to the bench grinder and ground a V into the top folded edge. The size of the clip fit right in to the original groove and the spring fit right into the v notch.
