Daves69Coupe 10 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 thinking about going to fiberglass or carbon fiber hood, do I need to change hinges also to billet style or can I just get different springs?
Powershift 19 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 I had a '65 Mustang, with a fiberglass hood. I used these light weight hood springs, and they worked great. I assume they may also work on the '69/'70 cars. ?? http://www.mustangsplus.com/xcart/1967-68-Light-Tension-Hood-Springs.html

StephenC 10 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 They also make hood struts that replace the spring all together with which would be good for a fiberglass or carbon fiber hood. http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/Fiberglass/fiberglass_hoods.htm
