bfed 18 Report post Posted December 22, 2011 (edited) I am restoring a 69 coupe. Looking for ideas on Disc Brakes, front suspension, rear suspension and wheel size. I would like to lower the stance and beef up the suspension. Need manufactors for brake and suspension parts Edited December 22, 2011 by bfed
Powershift 19 Report post Posted December 22, 2011 How do you plan to use the car? Will it be a 100% street car, or will it see some limited track use? Also, what type of budget are you using? There are a lot of options out there, but knowing more specifics of your build will help.
bfed 18 Report post Posted December 22, 2011 We are using the the car for Street and track. It is a third car not a daily driver. The car is from California and in great shape. Its a little sloppy driving. It jumps around. I talked to a guy at OPENTRACKERS and he gave me some ideas. I would like to keep the components stock looking but up graded. If it's not a daily driver upgrade the suspension components/mounts to poly. Everything.
Powershift 19 Report post Posted December 22, 2011 For street and open track use I would say speak to the guys at Maier Racing. They have some great parts, and tons of experience in building cars for the use you are planning. http://www.maierracing.com/
